�1 million grant will help in efforts to keep Titian masterpiece

A grant from of �1 million have kick started the efforts of the National Gallery of Scotland (NGS) and the National Gallery of London (NG) to achieve the �100 million (approximately $170 million) that is required to keep two paintings of Diana goddess of the hunt by Titian.

A pair of Titians masterpieces available for �100 million

Two paintings of Diana, goddess of the hunt has been offered for sale by the Dukes of Sutherland for a mere �100 million (�200 million). As an alternative an oil painting reproduction can be snapped up for �79.99 ($160) each.
